Schadenfreude Fishie in Glass Milk Carton

A little fishie from the Fathoms at Collabor88's 12th birthday!  9 different scaly colors of little fish, flipping his little tail back and forth, in a little glass milk carton fishbowl.  1 LI to rez, or carry around in your right hand.

Don't do this to a real fish.  Real life fish need space, even the little ones!  Don't have a sad beta in a tiny little container, give that fish space to unfurl those ridiculous fins!  But, uh, not other fish, because betas tend to be aggressive.  (These, of course, are not magnificent showoff betas, but instead lil pygmy sweepers, way friendlier.)  Do your research about how your fish should be taken care of before you get one, and pamper that fish with an awesome water palace- but in Second Life I can carry a fish around with me in a ridiculous container without worry (or have a fish at all- I've always had cats, I don't need to court disaster).

Schadenfreude Artist's Butterflies

Butterflies at Japonica, inspired by family crests, Ukiyo-e, and paper and fabric patterns.  5 different designs, each in 10 color options (including stark black and whites), sold by design or in a pack of them all.  Each includes a variety of butterflies: clusters that fly in circles in 2 sizes to wear or rez, a single butterfly that flies in a circle you can set the radius of, a flapping trail of 4, static butterflies in 5 poses (4 including mirrors, the 5th is symmetrical), and single wing flapping animated butterflies that hover in place or flap their wings while perched.  Collections of butterflies in single objects can be set to different texture options with the HUD by using the numbered buttons or the "Choose" mode.

Most movement of butterflies, flapping wings and in circles, is done with persistent properties that are low lag, and will continue even when unscripted (the exception is the perching butterflies, those do require a script to flap).  You can disable scripts with the HUD or manually to make the butterflies have even less impact on your region, make sure you do it in a copy if you delete the script!

Butterflies are also designed to allow you to tweak transparency and glow if you wish- use the Build menu to change those settings.  Select Face and set just the wings to transparent for the single butterflies, to avoid transparency conflicts.

Schadenfreude Zabuton Kitsune

A Drop of Bittersweet Amber is a visual novel for the spooky season, from the people that host Japonica.  Like The Dolls from 2 years ago, it's a beautiful story you slowly uncover as you progress through the areas.  You should do it!!

There is also a little market attached with a few shops- there are some freebies, some sales, some new releases.  I'm late finishing up my new thing! but finally have, some foxes on cushions (more accurately, kitsune on zabuton).  There are 7 poses which each include mirrors, and each pose has a fox with one tail, or some configuration of multiple tails- 2, 3, or 9.  All are texture change with 6 fox colours (two shades of orange fox, pure white fox, pink fox, and 2 different white foxes with red markings), 4 eye colours (gold, brown, blue, and red), and 12 zabuton (kitsune patterned, with different background colours).  1 LI each at "realistic" size (which is actually a little large, foxes are deceptively tiny!)

There are also 2 new free gifts to be found there, aside from the treat bucket variant also there waiting for you: an eyeball you can eat with chopsticks, and a plate with a pile of salt, to keep evil away.

Schadenfreude Skulls

Hallow Manor ihas opened with still life with skulls, skulls with various things on them: The Wages of Sloth (3 snail options to choose from, change each snail separately or to the same options), Flighty Delusions (4 butterfly options to choose from, each individually or all to match), Venomous Thoughts (16 snake options, loosely with some of the snakes of Europe), and Odin's Rose (a lot of rose options!).  1 LI each at realistic skull size.

Plus!  Hallow Manor is a shopping event plus hunt every year- you pay to unlock prizes you desire.  The prize from me is another skull, this one turned into a planter to hold a Crawling Octopus Aloe, also 1 LI at realistic skull size.

A Murder of Ravens in Hats

Maybe I love dressing up virtual animals because all the real ones would never put up with it?  This is the thing with cats, I suppose.  And Schipperkes, the dogs who might as well be cats.  Anyway!  Ravens in hats (and other headgear) for Panic of Pumpkin!  6 hats to choose from (top hat, bowler hat, veiled pillbox hat, witch hat, fez, and crown), or a pack of them all- hatless ravens included with each as well.  6 static poses of all ravens, hats and hatless.  All ravens are texture change with a desaturated option and a bluer option of shiny feathers, some of the accessories are texture change (metals for crowns, feathers on top hat and veiled).  1 LI at raven size, which is massive, seriously, ravens are huge birds.  You can also scale them down to somewhat less massive and pretend they are crows.

Also!  My day of the door is October 18!  At 8AM SLT, my door can be tricked or treated at for a free gift, after October 19 at 8AM SLT, it will be available for purchase instead until the end of the event.  A candleholder fashioned after a raven's claw: with tall, short, and no taper candles.  Touch to light candles, texture options for both candles (brights, darks, pastels) and candleholder (bare metal and painted pastels) to choose from.

Schadenfreude Flappit

Flappit wants YOU for the magical girl (gender optional) army at The Crystal Heart!  Coo over how cute Flappit is when you get magical powers and....are sent off to war against a magical army.  Dark side of 魔法少女 mahou shoujo optional.

Flappit comes in a gacha of sitting Flappits you can hold or rez at 1LI each and a rare hovering up and down Flappit to wear as a companion or rez at 3LI that is texture change with the 9 coat options on touch.  Flappit also comes in a copy pack of all the colours plus a solid black, with 6 more static poses at 1 LI each.  (All Land Impact at given size, resizing can of course change it.)

In gacha or copy pack format- the gacha versions can be held in left hand, right hand, or attached to avatar center, and each attachment point will move into place (and remember) when worn on those points, and can also be rezzed at 1 LI each.  The handle will automatically appear when worn on left or right hand, and disappear when worn on center or rezzed, and can also be touched to toggle visibility if you prefer the other way.  The uberpack has separate versions for left hand, right hand, or no handle (wear on center or rez).  Touch and hold for 5 seconds (or so, lag may lead to poor counting!) for a menu that allows you to adjust certain light settings: how much the lantern lights when touched, and also who can touch to light (default is everyone, but can also be set to only group access or only owner access).

Schadenfreude Foodie Octopus

Octopodes who likes to eat your food at SaNaRae!  (The plural of octopus is impossible, and it's all English's fault, with the way it beats up other languages for spare words.  It is from the Greek, so the familiar Latin us->i plural isn't correct, "odes" is, but we never ever use that so it's just...weird and pedantic [like me!].  And "octopuses" sounds funny.)

Bring home a little octopus who likes to eat/nest in your food- in gacha and copy uberpack options.  The uberpack has extra bits- texture change HUD for the octopus(es) with 12 colours to choose from, 14 udon bowls, 6 cupcake flavours and 13 cupcake wrappers, and 3 colours of takeaway box.  Plus a bunch of extra octopi who aren't munching on your lunch to do with as you please.  Each is 1 LI at the given food appropriate size, all the ones eating your food have included arm poses to hold.

Schadenfreude Sweater Piglets

This Year of the Boar, I'm bookending with piglets.  They started the year in Japanese kimono, and are ending the year comfy cozy in sweaters at the Okinawa Christmas Festival.

Like the kimono piglets, you can carry them around with you, or rez them at 1 LI each (and scale them up some and they still stay at 1 LI- they are a bit small at given for ease of carrying!)  Also like the kimono piglets, you can touch them and pick a pig coat- pink piggy, white with black heart shaped spots, or stripey little baby boar.

There is also a little free gift of jewelry at my booth (for you, not your piglet.  I do not condone piercing little piglet ears).

Schadenfreude Teacup Bunny

Bunnies hanging out in teacups (and a teapot) for SaNaRae!  In the gacha, you get what you see- a bunny in a piece of a tea service.  The jackolopes in the stacks can have their antlers hidden to be proper rabbits.  All can be attached to carry around, or rezzed at 1 Land Impact each. Bunnies can also be unlinked and separated from their cups, if you so desire to put their little bunny butts elsewhere.

You can also get a copy set of all the bunnies!  The copy set also comes with more- all the pieces to "round out" the set, that didn't fit in the gacha.  Teacups each come with or without saucers (except the Sakura teacup, which is both handleless and saucerless), empty or full of tea, and a stack of each.  The teapot also comes closed, and with an opening lid that is full of tea.  The teapot comes in 3 metal options, as do the crowns on the bunnies, and all the cups except Sakura also have a number of options.  Bunnies themselves also come with more options- there are lops in the copy set!  Everything is texture change with a HUD to customize with all the options, including all the bunnies and jackolopes.

All copy pieces can also be held- cups, saucers, teapot and bunnies in those each have a set hand to attach to.  Bunnies alone not in cups can be held in left or right hand- just attach to the hand you want and they will adjust into position.

Schadenfreude Boston Dog Days of Summer

The past few years I've celebrated the Chinese Zodiac year by making it my first Arcade of the year- this year I'd sort of planned to do Year of the Dog even earlier for a different event (that I didn't end up doing, and then someone else did close enough to the idea for it!), but didn't.  So, a bit late, Happy Year of the Dog!  With Boston Terriers enjoying the summer fun at The Arcade.  Each dog is lightly animated and texture change with 3 colour options for the dog and the collar (the collars can also be hidden), and many of the accessories also have 3 colour choices.

Exclusively at this June round of The Arcade, on your 25th play of the machine, you will also get a special copy/no trans terrier holding a bone, waggling his little bum- and a HUD with bonus Bones coats for all dogs (the HUD works on all the dogs in the gacha, too, so they can all be Bones if you wish!) and more collar options (that also work on all the dogs).

Schadenfreude Bunlets

Bunlets for The Arcade, little bunnies to carry around in your arms (with bento pose), or rez on your sim at 1 LI each (they are mod, and will go a bit larger than given size and stay 1 LI).  All commons have 2 texture options on touch, unicorn and jackolope have 3 texture options each, and the basket has a few options for eggs and bunlet pairs.  All commons, the unicorn, and the jackolope can be held in left or right hand, attach to either and they will pose and adjust automatically.  The rare basket of bunlets is held over the right forearm.  The jackolope's antlers can be shown/hidden, the wings and unicorn horn can be removed and traded with other bunlets.

Schadenfreude Hedgie Costumes and Sugar Skulls

This time at The Arcade, I have 2 machines!

The Hedgie Costumes can be found in the center area, next to the great big cake celebrating The Arcade's 5th birthday!  They are little hedgehogs in costumes- they come with the hedgehog shown with the costume they are wearing in the key.  You can also remove and trade costumes between them, if you wish an albino shark, or a rainbow mermaid- or remove their costumes entirely (though Bones' costume is painted on, so that one doesn't come off!).  Hedgies can be held in left or right hand (with bento poses)- just attach them to either hand and they will animate and go to the right place, or they can be rezzed- they are 1 LI each at given size, to a bit larger.

Only at The Arcade this month, if you play 25 times, you get an extra copy/no transfer reward of a trio of pastel hedgies!  They also can wear the costumes if you desire.  Player rewards are retired after the round of The Arcade, they can only be gotten this month!

And in the back sections, near the rear doors, there are sugar skulls.  Also 1 LI each at given size to a bit larger, the roses on the rare skull are texture change on touch with 4 options (red, pink, blue, and lavender)- you can choose to make them all match, or mix sides and front to different choices.

Another new release for the Okinawa Summer Festival!  Some may recognize the bagged octopus as a prize for ORIGAMI, but I finally got to more colours, rescripting them, unbagged versions, and better holds (now bento!)

The baby octopus comes in 9 colours, all include bagged and unbagged versions.  The bagged can be worn in left or right hand with a pose to hook the bag over your finger, the octopus wiggles and bobs in the water a little.  The unbagged baby octopus can be worn as a floating companion or rezzed (1 LI), and has options for floating speed and distance and tentacle animation control on touch.

Butterflies at SaNaRae

Butterflies somewhat like the fireflies, with singles and groups, animated and static, flying around, flying in place, and perched. Groups are 1-3 Land Impact each (freed with jar are 2 LI, some of the morpho clusters are more LI due to being large butterflies, monarchs and sulfurs other than the freed with jars are all 1 LI each).

There are 30 different butterflies, in texture change sets of three (you can make clusters all one colour, a mix of two, or of all three- with the pack you can mix beyond that with all the options).  On touch you can also adjust all sorts of other settings- glow, transparency for more ghostly butterflies, wingspeed, and flying speed.  Many of the butterflies will continue to fly even once unscripted, though some do require scripts to continue functioning (those that can be unscripted and work will have a menu option to disable the scripts).  Morphos and Foresters are large butterflies, Sulfurs are small, and Monarchs are in between- though all are modify to adjust size as you see fit.

They can be worn on either hand to carry them around, they can perch all over you, and you can wear them on Avatar Center for them to toddle on around next to you as companions.  They can be rezzed to stand and look around (you can also turn animations off), and to run around a little in a set area.
