Ravens, ears, eyes, hair

Ears, hair, eyes, and raven

Some new things!

One of my cascading releases, as certain things I made to be worn with certain other things (...and just for the ads), because I'm crazy like that.

3 new hairstyles, Branwen, Lethe, and Thomas. The uberpacks, as always, changes with a HUD so you can choose sections to dye as well. Branwen's the one that started this new session of obsessiveness, thanks to hya for suggesting the name that got me on this kick (♥), even if it was evil!

(in the foreground: Curio Elf skin, Scribble ears, ~silentsparrow~ Lysander outfit and oak.acorn.squirrel tattoos, Schadenfreude Tethys raven
in the background: ~silentsparrow~ Gloomy outfit, Scribble Ever After wings, Schadenfreude Langwidere Porcelain Smudged skin
retired Miriel eyes on both)

Lethe's been sitting in my inventory, nameless, for a while. It uses my first hair sculpts, and might actually be the first hair I made with sculpted bits, another one of my infinite A-lines (because that's what I try to get my hair to do, but hairdressers, do they listen? Noooo, they just give me bobs. Most successful I've managed so far was hacking my own hair off one night). I release hairs in chunks because when I get one ready I use the excuse to look through the old ones I haven't let out yet, hence, Lethe finally got textured properly and ready to go.

(in the foreground: ~silentsparrow~ Ritual outfit and goblet, Balderdash Jazz Funeral jeweled bracelet, random things that came up when I searched for "pearl" that I forget what are for the other bracelet and necklace, skin I'm working on, Schadenfreude glitter manicure
in the background: ~silentsparrow~ Chapiteau seanorses corset and Nymphai skirt, Schadenfreude Mer-elf ears and manicure
Beloved Designs eyes on both)

Thomas is Thom's longer and floppier twin brother, who's been intended since before Thom was released, but I hadn't quite gotten myself to finish it.

(Scribble ears and Schadenfreude Electro-spook necklace on her, Electro-spook tank/tee on both, matching Orpheus and Langwidere skins
retired Miriel eyes on both)

These hairstyles are now available only on the Marketplace.

The raven who made an appearance in the Dusk Vest ad, and his companion who I needed for Branwen:

(Tish hair, Nosfercoat, Geoflake eyes, in progress skin)
Both white and black ravens come in two versions- a shoulder sitting version with curved claws to hold onto your shoulder better (and can of course also be rezzed to perch on braches!), and one with flat feet for standing on flatter surfaces, along with some fluffy bits around his legs.

Finned Mer-elf ears, which I decided I needed for Lethe (which, when I dug it out to retexture it, decided looked like it would be quite suitable for a mermaid). They have a few textures to start (1 pure white shaded texture, and the 8 tones of Langwidere/Orpheus, so it's got a somewhat decent range of natural tones to start tone matching better with tinting from at the moment- and of course most people who are not me wear hair that covers the ears a bit so an exact match isn't usually as required, just close), and of course can be tinted to match your skin better- and I'll be adding more skintones. There is an updater included, so when more tones are added, wear the updater and get the new HUD delivered straight to you!

(~silentsparrow~ Nymphai corset, assorted Balderdash necklaces, layered, Langwidere skins and Geoflake eyes- Mer on large, Sparrow on small)

Ears and ravens are available at the elephant, of course!

And a new special set of geoflake eyes, pale ice blue, with sparrows. These are only available in the attic at silent sparrow- when you teleport into the shop, head upstairs and through one of the doors to the area of fun stuff, including a few other exclusives from hya's friends!

(the ad shows a zoomed in as far as I could manage with SL being wonky with my camera, on just the body part layer eye- no post processing aside from cutting it out, what you see is what you get. And the prim eyes will be yet crisper.)

Tish, Thom, and Wendy

It's October and Halloweeeeen is coming up, so there's lots of news, and I'm scrambling around trying to do all sorts of things and forget to tell it to you >.< For starters though, there is new hair:

Tish is rather what my hair tends to be if I don't run out and get haircuts all the time, as my hair grows fast, and I will, at times, just let it. (Well, actually, it goes a little bit longer and I sit on it, but close enough.) In fact, until a few weeks ago, Tish was my hair again, and then I hacked it all off one night and it is now more Fairuza. You can mix roots and tips a bit with the fatpack- the most options are with the black and white tips, as you can go coloured roots to black or white to coloured tips, as well as just roots or tips and whatnot. The singles include roots, tips, and both (the same roots and tips colours), in the tips packs. I finally tackled Tish, after playing around with long hair for years and never really being happy with the front, so I could wear it in the Striga ads, because, well, it's what should have been worn in those!

(on the demon lurking in the back: retired Miriel eyes; Schadenfreude Langwidere Smudged skin, Striga dress, Batwing Lucents wings. on the poor haunted soul in the foreground: Nomine doll skin without joins; Schadenfreude batbeater; retired Miriel eyes. Poses in both by Luth)

Thom is a case of me not having enough boy hair. Ok, not having enough boy hair I can use when I'm looking for something in particular, as I seem to always gravitate towards the floppy over the eyes dammit I can't see the makeup on this skin and my inventory is a mess. Thom is also pretty hot on girls, if I do say so myself.

(on the demon lurking in the back: retired Miriel eyes; Schadenfreude Orpheus Siouxsie skin, batbeater. on the unsuspecting innocent in the foreground: Schadenfreude Orpheus Clean skin, Teal Oxford shirt; retired Miriel eyes. Poses in both by Luth)

Wendy's been sitting in my inventory for a bit while I put off coding the bows and dealing with all the rest of it. It has the same 24 ribbon colours as the bows from the Electro-cute hairbows, all packs come with a HUD to select the ribbons of your choice (you can also mismatch them, so left and right bows do not match, if you are so inclined, as well as, with the fatpack, mixing the hair so half is one colour, half the other). The tips packs come with the alternate colour at the roots, or the tips (and the HUD has a little toggle for flipping back and forth).

(on Miss Loretta lurking in the back: retired Miriel eyes; ~silentsparrow~ Lottie dress; Schadenfreude Langwidere Smudged skin, My Mother's Eyes jewelry. on the dear sweet girl you'd never expect to do wrong in the foreground: Schadenfreude Langwidere Clean skin, Wolsey dress; retired Miriel eyes. Poses in both by Luth)

Hair is now available exclusively on the marketplace.

Electro-cute jewelry, Boon-mee, Boon-nam, and Zelly

The RFL deep purple oxford and tie set is going poof tomorrow- perhaps all RFL vendors are, so make sure to snap up everything you need!

New this week at Schadenfreude, the jewelry set to go with the Electro-cutes (finally!), and 3 hairstyles.

The Electro-cute jewelry comes in all 9 Electro-cutes, in sets of necklace, earrings, and bracelets; as well as in a scripted fatpack that lets you mix and match cameos on each, as well as coming with hairbows with 24 ribbon colours, pre-fitted for Nekomi, Boon-mee, and Boon-nam, and separate singles.

(Miriel eyes; Schadenfreude Boon-mee hair and Electro-cute dress; unreleased skin; pose by Lazy Places)

The Electro-cute fatpack also now includes 3 more cameos, the Electro-spooks, and skull decorated earrings and necklaces. If you already have the Electro-cute set, wear your updater balloons to be sent the new kit with all the new bits!

Boon-mee is a short ponytail style with shaggy v-cut fringe:

(Miriel eyes; Schadenfreude Electro-cute dress and jewelry on purple; katat0nik ice cream dress and Violet Voltaire Gutter Glitter jewelry on pink; unreleased skins; poses by Lazy Places and Lotta)

Boon-nam is sibling to Boon-mee, with short flat fringe- both Boon-mee and Boon-nam come in the fatpacks for either.

(Miriel eyes; Schadenfreude Electro-cute dress and jewelry on pink; katat0nik ice cream dress and Violet Voltaire Gutter Glitter jewelry on purple; unreleased skins; poses by Lazy Places and Lotta)

Zelly is a pulled back 'hawk, which comes with three variants. I like the ones without the top ponytails for wearing with hats.

(Miriel eyes; Pig Unisexy Dungarees and Unisex Jacket and layering tee on him; tintable shredded shirt you can fish up in the Starlust motel pool on her; unreleased jewelry and skins, poses by Penny Dreadful Arcade)

Hair is now exclusively available on the marketplace.

Also, if you want to take a side trip to the new session of Hotel Dare (I have nooooo idea where that landmark will drop you, but it's in the right vicinity! The elephant head, as well as lots of other neat goodies, are in the lego building, which is in the general vicinity of my big pink elephant there), which opened this weekend, you can find a pink elephant head:

(~silentsparrow~ tudor.rose tattoos, Schadenfreude webbeater)

August, Augustine, Cinder, and Jinx

4 new hairstyles. Fatpacks, of course, come with the HUD that lets you change any bit of it to any of the choices so you can mix your own as well as choose from all the options.

August is very loosely based on the second hair I built for me (the first one is just a total wreck with alpha flicker), a chunky messy floppy 'hawk, though it's been refined quite a bit since then. Both left and right sides come together, as sometimes you want to show off one side of the head, and sometimes you want to show off the other. Or, ok, sometimes I want to show off head tats or earrings on one side or the other...

(Miriel eyes, sadly no longer available; [][]Trap[][] Heart skins; Schadenfreude Houxin and Bixin, created for the aforementioned awesome skins; unreleased earrings)

Augustine is a version of August that covers the entire head, a messy short style with body.

(Miriel eyes, sadly no longer available; ~silentsparrow~ Voltaire suit on him; ~silentsparrow~ bunting set on her; unreleased skins)

Cinder is a razorcut A-line with fringe, with a dyable undercut hiding under the back- the single packs come with mini HUDs to change that to any solid haircolour, the fatpack lets you choose whether to change the fringe, the undercut, and/or the rest of it to any of the options (including the tips on the undercut). It also comes with tips flipped both ways, with the transition being nearer the roots or the tips.

(Miriel eyes, sadly no longer available; Versteck dress, Kunstkammer Sugar Skull necklace, and Schadenfreude Langwidere Spellbound skin on red; hyasynth Tiramisu for Crimson Shadow batpunk and retired Fleur skin on the black with purple)

Jinx is a somewhat messy bob-like haircut, yet another of the random bob experiments (maybe just a teeeny bit like what happens when I try to give myself a haircut). The tips come flipped in both directions on this one as well.

(Miriel eyes, sadly no longer available; ~silentsparrow~ Severina suite and Balderdash Whiskey and Plum necklace on purple-black; Thimbles Daddy's Girls shirt on red; unreleased skins)

These hairstyles are now available only on the Marketplace.

Hotel Dare

I was asked to help create the Trevor Brown inspired doll avatar for the current session of Hotel Dare, which opened at 5pm today.

Katat0nik created the nurse's uniform, Marie Lauridsen of Milk Motion created the skin and shape, Helianthus Mesmer of sunflower poses created the pose, and I created the hair.

(I'm not wearing the skin or shape in this picture, as they weren't done when I took the photo! I'm wearing a Schadenfreude Diamond Dogs skin instead, and Miriel anime eyes)

Lil Miss contains 2 sizes in the box, one for a more normal avatar, and one for the special doll shape. It is only available in Black, and is only available on the Marketplace.

Veronique, Nekomi, and Fairuza

On and off I've been working on hair textures for....a very long time. I have a tendency to do a couple, decide I don't like them, and start over from scratch. Finally this time I made a full set that I think I can live with though! It's all Hair Fair's fault, you people got me in the mood, even though I'm not going to be in Hair Fair (I learned my lesson about getting into a fair with a bunch of unfinished things with Shoe Fair....I still have boots I was going to release at that unfinished...)

All the fatpacks come with wackyass HUDs that let you change the whole shebang to any of the colours, as well as the ability to change sections you choose to any, so you can do mixed things.

Veronique was mini released in October, with an earlier hair texture revision, just in black with white streaks. Now Veronique has a full contingent of colours:

(Miriel eyes, Schadenfreude skins/clothing/jewelry- the skin and jewelry on green 'hawked Alle aren't available yet, the earrings on Frankenstein's monster Alle were a freebie last Halloween)
Single (well, 5 colour) packs of Veronique come with solids, and with white streaks (except white, which has black streaks), with the solid colours. The tips have tips flipped both directions, no streaks. The fatpack has easy control of dying the streaks and/or the fringe/bangs the colour of your choice (plus you can select individual prims to change in all fatpacks).

Nekomi is something I put together for an ad series, because I had an idea of what I wanted to do, but couldn't find the hair I wanted to do it with.

(Miriel eyes; on Cotton Candy tips- ~silentsparrow~ meatcake dress, Schadenfreude unreleased skin; on Azul hair- ~silentsparrow~ gutter glitter outfit, Schadenfreude Diamond Dogs skin and Jerry's Lament jewelry)
Both styles of fringe are included in all packs, additionally mini packs have the ability to hide or show the little fluffy bits at the base of the ponytails, and the fatpack lets you show/hide those, change them to the colour of your choice, and also change the bangs/fringe, the side pieces, and change one half independent of the other, for mixing (as well as choosing individual prims).

Here's Nekomi coloured with the HUD to be all rainbowy for the new ~silentsparrow~ lucky chair set:

Fairuza just sort of weirdly happened- I was playing around with yet another bob, and pulling hair back behind the ears to show off jewelry and the face, and ended up with something that strongly reminded me of Fairuza Balk from The Craft (what is it about the batshit insane ones that make them so hot?)

(Miriel eyes; on Fairuza- MiaSnow Sofia 2.0 skin, Nomine tartan plaid skirt which you can't see much of but is the _perfect_ naughty schoolgirl skirt, Balderdash rosary, Schadenfreude White Oxford shirt, vest from Strigoi; on Screaming Lizard tips- Fashionably Dead skin (I forget which one, it's from one of the older sets), idk shirt, Violet Voltaire Starlene jewelry, ~silentsparrow~ crow jane tattoos)
Tips for Fairuza come flipped both ways. It's not an easily divisible into obvious chunks style, so the fatpack simply allows you to change the whole thing or choose individual prims.

All are copy/modify, of course. Fatpacks also come with updating balloons that will send you new copies if you happen to accidentally destroy one, or in case of updates.

All hair is now exclusively on the marketplace.
