Most of these have been out for a bit, but a couple of them have only been available a couple of days!

There are so many treat buckets this year.  This might be my way of dealing with too much stress (ugh) and getting sick too much this year (it's been ridiculous, at least 3 times in the last couple of months?  And the air quality with the fires is messing me up even when I'm not sick-sick, I'd be cool with that stopping now, but at least I haven't been in real danger from it, unlike some poor people!)  But match your bucket to your costume!

ANYWAY.  I do treat buckets every year.  They are free, and meant to be carried around.  Anyone can touch it to get a weird toy or candy.  It's all very silly, and it's tradition, since the very first year of Schadenfreude.

Basic bucket.  Elephant, on the dresser, as usual.

For my group members, a green bucket- activate your tag, sit on the mini elephant in the head of the big elephant you walk into, it'll take you to the super sekrit hidden group room, wherein waits the bucket.

For the members of the (free!) I (heart) the Starlust group, there's a purple bucket in the trailer.

For hyasynth's ~silentsparrow~ twittery birds members, a bloo bucket.  In her house, "hidden" (in plain sight, somewhere inside the house).

For *katat0nik*'s group, a pink bucket!  Go to her sim, hop out of the store onto the ground.  Again: plain sight.

And then a few that do not require any groups this year!  Most of these events end REALLY SOON, so hurry.  CADERU ends in the early morning SLT on Halloween even!

Schadenfreude Treat Bucket!

This year's treat bucket lives!  Every year I give away a treat bucket full of candy and weird toys (we're talking full flexi flippity floppity witch hat and other similarly ridiculous things).  This year, it's a candy cauldron, because my general theme has been witchy!  The regular plain treat bucket is free for all, waiting for you to touch the empty treat bucket on the dresser in the elephant.

You are looking for EMPTY buckets- the ones you get will be full of candy like these!

The last few years, I've made some alternates for groups- and that's happening again this year.

For Schadenfreude Enterprise groupies, you can also get one with overflowing green goop- wear your tag, after you get your treat bucket on the dresser, go up the steps into the elephant's head and sit on the mini elephant to get to the sekrit group room, where it will be waiting.

For I <3 The Starlust groupies (that's a free group to join!), you can get one with purple goop- leave the elephant and walk towards the middle of the sim to the trailer, where it waits for people with that group tag.

hya's ~silentsparrow~ twittery birds get blue goop- somewhere inside her house, there is a bucket waiting for you. (It's in plain sight, not hidden inside of any cabinets or anything).

If you head on over to *katat0nik*'s sim, her groupies get pink goop! You'll have to jump out of her store onto the ground, as she's still using a temp sky build. The treat bucket is somewhere outside, on the ground. A hint: I like dotting the grassy stars. Not a good hint- there are a lot of stars. (I'm not a hard ass on the hunting for these, area search will make it easy if you need it!)

And at the Arcanum Maze of Madness- if you find your way to the end, you can get orange goop, no group required!

Schadenfreude Chipmunks!

Little autumn chipmunks for The Arcade, most are 1 land impact.  The Tea Party is 2 land impact as it is made of 3 separate objects (each 1 LI on their own) linked together- you can unlink them so those chipmunks can hang out other places than on that stump.  The Bowls of Peanuts are also 2 land impact, as they are 2 separate objects (chipmunk and bowl), each individually scripted so the texture change functions work even when not connected (as do the Tea Party chipmunks).

All chipmunks are scripted with texture change options- Natural chipmunks include 2 shades of brown and a white albino, Fantasy include Bones!, a spacey Cosmos, and pink- rares include all 6 fur options for those chipmunks.   Many of the accessories they come with also have texture options to choose from as you desire. The bowls for the bowls of peanuts match the dishes for a previous Arcade set, Autumn Bounty.

Exclusively at this September round of The Arcade, on your 25th play of the machine, you will also get a special copy/no trans bowl of acorns, which also matches the Autumn Bounty set. It has the 6 acorn options that the acorn the chipmunk holds can be turned to.

Schadenfreude Boston Dog Days of Summer

The past few years I've celebrated the Chinese Zodiac year by making it my first Arcade of the year- this year I'd sort of planned to do Year of the Dog even earlier for a different event (that I didn't end up doing, and then someone else did close enough to the idea for it!), but didn't.  So, a bit late, Happy Year of the Dog!  With Boston Terriers enjoying the summer fun at The Arcade.  Each dog is lightly animated and texture change with 3 colour options for the dog and the collar (the collars can also be hidden), and many of the accessories also have 3 colour choices.

Exclusively at this June round of The Arcade, on your 25th play of the machine, you will also get a special copy/no trans terrier holding a bone, waggling his little bum- and a HUD with bonus Bones coats for all dogs (the HUD works on all the dogs in the gacha, too, so they can all be Bones if you wish!) and more collar options (that also work on all the dogs).

Schadenfreude Bunlets

Bunlets for The Arcade, little bunnies to carry around in your arms (with bento pose), or rez on your sim at 1 LI each (they are mod, and will go a bit larger than given size and stay 1 LI).  All commons have 2 texture options on touch, unicorn and jackolope have 3 texture options each, and the basket has a few options for eggs and bunlet pairs.  All commons, the unicorn, and the jackolope can be held in left or right hand, attach to either and they will pose and adjust automatically.  The rare basket of bunlets is held over the right forearm.  The jackolope's antlers can be shown/hidden, the wings and unicorn horn can be removed and traded with other bunlets.

Schadenfreude Tentacular Heels

Shiny shoes with contrasting soles and tentacle heels for The Epiphany!  The Tentacular Heels come in 12 common colour choices, and 2 rares- each rare comes with two pairs of heels.  Play the machine for your feet- they come fitted for Slink High Feet, Maitreya Tiptoe Feet, and Belleza High Feet.

Exclusive to this round of The Epiphany, for 25 points you can get tentacle straps up your legs to match the shoes!  Points are acquired by redeeming them from items you don't want- 1 point for commons, 3 points for rares (plus you get a bonus 100 points just for playing this round, as all rollover points were deleted with the new scripting system).  They come with a HUD with all shoe colours to choose from, in two heights, ankle and almost to the knee- you can wear one side, or both matching, or mix heights.  Also fitted for bodies, they will fit Slink Physique and Hourglass, Maitreya Lara, and Belleza Venus, Isis, and Freya.

Dearest Fawns from Schadenfreude for The Arcade, little fawns to carry around in your arms (with bento pose), or rez on your sim at 1 LI each (they are mod, and will go a bit larger than given size and stay 1 LI- they are petite fawns for easier holding as given).  Fawns with accessories (wings, top hat, leg wraps) can have the accessories unlinked and traded with other fawns, the unicorn and devil fawns also let you hide their horns with a touch menu.

Exclusively at this December round of The Arcade, you will also get a quartet of peryton fawns in addition to your 25th gacha purchase.  These fawns with feathery wings (not full "traditional" perytons with the avian hind legs and tail as well) are also 1LI each when rezzed to a bit larger than they come, and also can be held cradled in your arms.

Treat Bucket!

My personal favorite of my yearly traditions is the treat bucket.  Every year, I make a Halloween treat bucket for people to carry around- anyone can touch the bucket to be given candy or weird little fun stuff.  I've done it every year since the first year of Schadenfreude, right after I opened.  The past few years, I've also made some bonus buckets for special groups.

The black cat bucket is free for everyone- just hop on over to the elephant, and touch the empty black cat bucket on the dresser.  The other buckets require being members of special groups.

The pink cat bucket is especially for *katat0nik* group members.  Search on katat0nik's sim for bucket (it's on ground level, you'll have to jump down out of the shop since SOMEONE hasn't finished her actual store build yet), touch it with your group tag activated.

The green cat bucket is for members of my own Schadenfreude Enterprises group.  Activate your tag and sit on the little elephant in the elephant's head to be whisked away to the secret basement room where that treat bucket giver lives.

And the bloo cat bucket is just for hyasynth Tiramisu's ~silentsparrow~ twittery birds group.  Hunt for it in her house, and touch with the group tag activated.

Schadenfreude Gasmask Menagerie

A menagerie of gasmasks at The Epiphany! Many of the gasmasks (all the solid colours) are texture change with black and white options- the insect has 5 eye colour choices (red, yellow, green, and blue), and the unicorn can hide the horns and/or ears (so you can just be a pony, or just have a mohawk). There are versions to fit the male and female base mesh- play the appropriate machine for your body type. The Kraken is not rigged with a full range of motion to lessen distortion of the hoses, you may find it doesn't work well with all poses!

For 25 points (gotten by deciding you don't want something you've gotten for a gacha and have turned in for points instead), you can get 4 of the animal parts in black and in which to wear as accessories, not as gasmasks.

10 Years of Fallen Gods

Fallen Gods is celebrating 10 years on the grid!  There are a bunch of fun activities- contests and hunts and live music and Penguin Olympics.  There is also a market with friends invited, including me!  I made a couple of new things for it.

For one, a mini set of vouboos inspired by skins and tattoos from Fallen Gods over the years.

And a special unicorn horn in a starry galactic texture.

Schadenfreude Hedgie Costumes and Sugar Skulls

This time at The Arcade, I have 2 machines!

The Hedgie Costumes can be found in the center area, next to the great big cake celebrating The Arcade's 5th birthday!  They are little hedgehogs in costumes- they come with the hedgehog shown with the costume they are wearing in the key.  You can also remove and trade costumes between them, if you wish an albino shark, or a rainbow mermaid- or remove their costumes entirely (though Bones' costume is painted on, so that one doesn't come off!).  Hedgies can be held in left or right hand (with bento poses)- just attach them to either hand and they will animate and go to the right place, or they can be rezzed- they are 1 LI each at given size, to a bit larger.

Only at The Arcade this month, if you play 25 times, you get an extra copy/no transfer reward of a trio of pastel hedgies!  They also can wear the costumes if you desire.  Player rewards are retired after the round of The Arcade, they can only be gotten this month!

And in the back sections, near the rear doors, there are sugar skulls.  Also 1 LI each at given size to a bit larger, the roses on the rare skull are texture change on touch with 4 options (red, pink, blue, and lavender)- you can choose to make them all match, or mix sides and front to different choices.

And the player reward for 25 plays, only available this month at The Arcade, a set of 5 plates with designs from some of the sugar skulls.

This year is the year of the Rooster, so to celebrate, I made chickens for the first round this year of The Arcade.  The common chickens, hens and roosters, can be attached to Avatar Center to follow you around, or Right Forearm to carry around.  They can be rezzed on the ground to stand and look around, to sit and look around, or be given a perimeter range to wander around in. The roosters can be told to crow when you desire.  The rare roosters don't wander around- you can wear them and carry them around, your arm high to keep their tail feathers from dragging on the ground too much, or they can stand on their perch and hang out (the perch is a separate object- you can hide or remove it for them to perch on anything else!)

Only at this round of The Arcade, you can get a pair of folk chickens! for 25 plays.  After this month, these chickens will never be seen again.

For this December Arcade, Badgers!  Most of the commons (all but the two flying ones) are follow/wander pets- wear them and they putter alongside you, rez them to stand and look around, or to wander in a set radius.  The rare badgers are to be held while they squiggle around a little in your arms (they can also sit quite goofily around on sofas).  Accessories can be traded between badgers of the same type.  All badgers except the ones marked are 1 Land Impact.

ONLY available at this round of the Arcade this month is a player reward of a set of royal badgers- a follow badger, a badger to hold, and a little silver crown for you to wear.  On 25 plays you will receive this set as well as your gacha pull!  The royal badger set is only available until December 31, after which it will never be seen again.

The Nightmare event is back this year, with another haunted house to scare the pants off of you.  I made nesting dolls who only slightly look like they want to swallow your soul.  Who needs clowns when there are haunted matryoshka?  They are modify, so you get to pick how you wish to nest them, the tops pop off to move however you want.  When you want to put them back together, the top and bottom are identical sizes/locations/rotations, just copy over one to the other and they will fit right back together perfectly.

And if you are brave enough to get through the haunted house and keep your wits about you enough to complete the hunt, you can get a spike collar at my booth as well.  System layers and omega appliers for the slight bit of blood, modify to adjust your fit.  They have higher and lower placements (higher is shown), the higher applier requires your mesh head to have a layer over the neck for the blood, the lower uses body layers which are more standard.

Sweets at Panic of Pumpkin

The Panic of Pumpkin event is in full swing!  It's a Japanese event, on Japanese time which means things are AHEAD of SL time- it's often a day later to the game than you think it is.  The event is from October 1 to October 31 midnight Japan time WHICH MEANS that it opened on September 30th at 9am SLT!  The day thing means something because not only can you find goodies to buy, but there is a hunt! that it a daily advent style thing.  Find the door for the current day and knock on it (say trick or treat, of course!) to get the special thing for that day.  Because it runs on Japan time, you may need to knock on a door for the day after when it it for you!  After the day has passed, you can buy the gift for 50L.

Aside from that, the venue is adorable, and there is much inventive spooky fun to be had.  I made parfaits for it, because Japanese parfaits are my kryptonite.  They are amazing.  They are adorable, and tasty, and wonderful, and I don't DO a parfait in any other country, but man, Japan knows how to make them magic.  I do stay away from the ones bigger than my head though, as tempting as they may be.  Have to save some room for the rest of the amazing food, after all.

And for my gift, there are 和菓子 wagashi, Japanese sweets, in the shape of pumpkins.  The plates give little temp attachment pumpkins to eat to anyone, and there are also versions for you to eat and hold in your mouth. (They are mod, so you can also do whatever you like with the pumpkins.)

Crystal Cottage at The Arcade

I thought I already posted this, but I guess not!  The Arcade is almost over, and it's the ONLY place you will ever be able to find the crystal candelabra player reward- after the event is over that's being retired forever and will never be seen again.  You will get it in copy/no transfer perms in addition to your regular gacha prize on your 25th pull, texture change crystals and base for a variety of looks.

The rest of the gacha will be moving home at the end of the event, but not that!  The Crystal Cottage is a foray into housing (I don't do buildings often!  Especially buildings that aren't elephant shaped, or round, or a giant unicorn...), a small cottage in light and dark options, with some crystal housewares to match.  Many of the crystals are texture change with a selection of options- to be as spooky or as pretty pretty princess as you desire.

Meowlbit at Magic of Oz for Easter

There is a hunt at the Magic of Oz sim right now, that runs until April 8.  Go to the sim, get a basket, collect eggs, and then redeem them for fabulous prizes from shops on the sim.  I made a special Meowl(bit) for it- Sensio has whiskers, long ears, and is all pastel Eastery colours.

Winter Wonder Hunt

The Winter Wonder Hunt is still going for most of this month (ends the day after Christmas, I think!).  It's not really a hunt-hunt, it's a story event with quests to earn things to turn in for prizes.  The prize you can redeem from me is a stuffed Krampusling (because I have Krampus on the brain lately).  You can find instructions on how to do the hunt at the official site.

It's a little Nightmare Before Christmas in theme- Karuma Tengu has injured Santa Claus by accident, and now Christmas is ruined!  The yokai don't want the children to be sad, so they are going to save Christmas, even if they have no idea whatsoever what they are doing.  This leads to best new sleigh for Santa and BEST CAKE EVER.  Santa tries to be super diplomatic about it all.  You get to pick whether you want to do quests in JiPang (the spooky side of the sim with the yokai!) or Santaburg first.  You will get a little companion (you must allow your companion to rez and attach to be able to complete quests!) to help you on your quest, as you collect materials to make things for people and run errands for them (there are permanent versions of the quest companions to be found in each half of the sim as well- not for doing the quests, but for keeping with you later!).  You are rewarded with coins that can be redeemed for prizes for the quests- many are repeatable so you can pick an easy one (cat booze!) to grind for more coins.

Trunk or Treat is open with a funhouse and lots of neato gifts for trick or treaters!  It's a child friendly location, so there is a lot kid friendly as well as things for adults.  You can get a cyclops mask there at my car, texture change with 6 options on touch.
