Seasons Story has opened this month for a Spring round.  I am celebrating spring showers with 和傘 traditional Japanese umbrellas, bamboo frames with decorated washi paper.  Continuing my kitsune theme from Xiasumi, in some parts of Japan, a sunshower is called kitsune no yomeiri, a fox wedding.  My foxes are prepared for the wedding, with a selection of fitting wagasa: 11 decorated with playful foxes- 7 frolicking with sakura flowers, 4 with kitsune-bi ("foxfire")- and 2 more decorated with just cherry blossoms.  The open umbrellas can be held in the left or right hand, with two left hand options.  Two closed display versions are also included, one with the string up for hanging.  Unlike western umbrellas, wagasa are stored upright, standing on the handle or hanging.

Each umbrella comes with the patterned version, and a simpler solid paper cover of just the background colour.  They are texture change with HUD, which also changes all the assorted bits of the wagasa.

10 colours of zukami (the very top bit that covers the end of the frame): black, white, brown, pink, red, orange, green, teal, blue, and purple
10 colours of atama himo (the string tied around the zukami): black, white, brown, pink, red, orange, green, teal, blue, and purple
7 solid and multicolour kagari ito options (the decorative strings around the inner ribs), which can also be turned off
11 colours of frame and ribs: black, white, pink, red, orange, green, teal, blue, purple, bamboo, and darker wood
and 11 colours of handles- that can match the frames, or you can choose one that does not match

change all the bits

The HUD also lets you choose wet (shiny, requires Atmospheric Shaders) or dry, and solid or a bit see through (note: the closed umbrellas are always solid, since they are folded up!)

The wagasa can be found at Seasons Story this month!  I'm in the south-southwest spoke off the center, next to ~silentsparrow~ and across from katat0nik (Supernatural club is sticking together!  Contraption, our fearless club leader, is next to katat0nik).
