Zombies and candy, who could ask for anything more?

If you've known Schadenfreude for at least a year, you know about the treat buckets. I do them every year, with a different bucket full of candy and accessories and random crap, that will give out treats to anyone who touches it. I was getting all nostalgic this year, pulling them out to look at the buckets past, preparing to make a new one, and decided to put them out _without_ candy. These don't hand out toys, but they also aren't over 100 prims, and you can actually display them without using alll the prims. They're also mod, so you can decorate them yourself, if so inclined. There is a display version, and a carrying version (the carrying version has the same hold pose stuff as the candy giver, including the "trick or treat"). These are the 3 prior years (last year was skull, 3 years ago was cat, which might be my favourite of them all, and the pumpkin was in between- it's sort of a tradition to do a pumpkin every other year, so this year's will be another one), and the somewhat more primmy and not sculpted! one from the first year, that also lights up on command, is on the steps of the elephant for the completionist.

The treat bucket for this year will be out soon, possibly even today, but I make no promises. I sort of didn't sleep much.

And a 'beater, with a blood speckled heart print, the zombie heartbeater. As with them all, ribbed for your pleasure, men's and women's versions included.

I'm Only Happy When It Rains

The Happy When It Rains event has started at Twomoons Island! A bunch of people (myself included) have booths with rainy items for the event. I ended up with 14 new things for it, because I sculpted this little cloud, and then this umbrella, and then sort of went insane. I know, like this was actually a change from my default state.

The clouds, well. They made me channel my inner Japanese girl. She's very small, and cute, and perpetually in her early 20s and wears big frilly floofy skirts. There are 2 sets of Kawaii Clouds jewelry, with bead drops of rain, and strings of rainbow beads.

The clouds made another appearance on a tanktop and t-shirt- the tanktop is the same teal as the Skunk Electro-cute, and can be made into a dress with that set using it instead of the skunk top.

And another prim corset! MiaSnow, our fine host for this event, is always unabashedly courageous with her use of colour, and it's always amazing. The rain soaked corset's colours, and those of the matching necktie, were inspired by her.

And then, of course, if it's raining, you need an umbrella! And so, the parapluies- sculpted brollies that go with the corset and tie. Each contains two umbrellas- a purple to pink outer with a teal to blue inner, and a teal to blue outer with a purple to pink inner. The most traditional ones, to carry around holding, have three holding poses you can cycle between when the owner clicks upon the umbrella. (My poses were ALL conflicting with each other when I was trying to take pictures, though they were perfectly fine with cooperating until I was to that point [bastard SL], so they really DO have the relevant fists set, even though the one there doesn't look it.)

There are also versions that go out in your house- a straight up display version, 4 prims to sit on your floor, and 2 styles of lamp. The chandelier is the more primmy, with 8 lightbulbs, one from each spoke- the umbrella with lights itself is 11 prims, and there are 2 ceiling mounts, a one prim version, and a two prim (they look very similar- the higher prim option provides more flexibility so you don't have to mount them from a level ceiling). The lamp is 4 prims, with the 1-2 prim ceiling mount, with a single lightbulb nestled behind the canopy, softly glowing. There's one of those upside down (or is it right side up?) in the blue sparrow room in the basement right now. Both electrified brollies light and extinguish when anyone clicks on them. And yes, I know they're redundantly named. But that way you can find them when you search in inventory, maybe?

(the human girl's clothing, tattoos, and hair are all from katat0nik, aside from her pants in the t-shirt picture, which are ~silentsparrow~; the tattoos on the elves are from ~silentsparrow~, as are their pants and her skirt in the holding parapluie and necktie pictures; the girl elf's shirt in the necktie picture is from Pig; all poses by {TERHO}, and my boy model is secure enough in his sexuality that he can even pull off girl poses and look hot; all skins, eyes, makeup and ears by Schadenfreude, as are the hair on both elves, and the oxford shirt on him in the tie picture)

You too can be happy when it rains, on Twomoons Island!

After the event is over, items will be available at the elephant or on the Marketplace.

50 Linden Friday: Ghostbat Beater

(Smudged Orpheus and Langwidere skins; those unreleased pants I wear a bit on him, gutter glitter skirt on her; Lazy Places Liir hair on him, BP* Okappa hair on her; Illusions awesome bat wings on him, the white extrabonustexture Lucent batwings on her; retired Miriel eyes on both)

This week my 50 Linden Friday contribution is a ribbed tank with a blue-grey bat with red eyes. Because it's October, and yay bats! (He's sort of the grown up cousin to the Electro-Cute bat.)

You can pick this up at the elephant, as well as the list of everyone involved this week- as always, there's a lot of awesome deals to be had!

Electro-cute dresses

Bright colors and a floofy skirt make up the Electro-cutes (hyasynth Tiramisu of ~silentsparrow~ once again comes to my rescue when it comes to naming things).

(Miriel eyes no longer available, Schadenfreude Nekomi hair, Lucent heels and buckle platform boots, unreleased skin and jewelry, poses by Lazy Places and Luth)

The singles come with a tank top (and dress top) with a graphic- I don't use a tablet much, I mostly use the mouse, but this was a fun little exercise in playing with the tablet again that actually worked out well. (Historically tablets and I do not get along, as they seem insistent that I actually shake like I have Parkinson's, and I tend to disagree. I think I've gotten to the point that isn't a problem anymore though!) There's also a plain tank top in a contrasting colour (to match the graphic) you can wear for layering, and a skirt with a petticoat to match.

If you go for the fatpack, well, there are 3 extra graphic tops in there, the plain tanks in the full 7 colours, and a HUD controlled skirt to let you mix and match the over skirt and petticoat to whatever you please.

The alligator and fish tank tops (just the tops, not the rest of it) are also in fishing around the elephant for those fisher(wo)men looking to sink some time in (and, of course, you'll find them all out in the elephant himself).

This isn't the last you'll see of the Electro-cutes- I'm wearing the matching jewelry in the photos, but it's not quite out and released yet!

Lurking

Relax in pants meant to tie you up and keep you that way. Two pairs of bondage pants with straps, for those who prefer to bare a little hipbone or not, four shirts, shaded for men and women, and prim bolts and cuffs to finish the look.

Batwing tanks

Yesterday I was locked out of where I wanted to be (thanks LL), and thus, couldn't work on what I really should have been. Instead, I did something small enough I could actually maybe get it done, ha. Let's not talk about all the things that are in various states of half finishedness.

The batwing tanks are summery and more avatar bearing than Allegory generally wears around (I, on the other hand, am heading into the 120F weather, in which I try to wear as little clothing as possible while avoiding the sun and trying to spend all of my time in air conditioning), but have given me lots of reason to go spelunking in my tattoo folder (which may just need to be expanded some). Three packs of three, to soothe my bizarrely ordered mind.

Available at the Starlust Motel, Juicy, Haute Couture, and onRez.

(middle: skins by miaSnow, hair the K-OH! by Pudge; right: skins by La Sylphide, hair by Philotic energy, cool and absence tats by Alexitimia, warm tats by EtchD; all jeans by Tres Blah, all eyes by Miriel)
And the exciting exciting awesome stuff that keeps distracting me from other things? New Starlust Motel opening next weekend! We've expanded into something that I hope you will agree is weird and wonderful. However, the place will be open before everything is done done, lots of little details that will be yet to put into place, I'm sure.

Skelebeaters, and the Starlust Motel!

I've been doing some work on the Starlust Motel. It's a communal baby, all of us have been working on getting it birthed and ready to face the public without upchucking all over them too much. Well, you know, unless you're into that sort of thing, and then if you tickle it just right, here...

It's been a really great thing, I've wanted to make spaces in SL since, well, before there was an SL, really. I still miss the MOO that a couple of friends and I put together. So when the opportunity came up to help build a place with an interesting premise, with a neat group of people, I was really really happy. I've also got that whole mix of excitement and apprehension that happens when any big thing gets to be finished enough for people to see it (although, I have no doubt that it isn't really finished, and we'll be adding things here and there for forever).

The opening is tonight, open to the public at 11pm, Friday night (SL time, of course). To celebrate, for the weekend, there's a free purple version of the Skelebeaters out front of Room 13, sitting on the chair, just waiting for you to pick it up.

The rest of the Skelebeaters are inside, and come in a black and white version, and a veritable rainbow. In a pack you get 4 different beaters, two cut for the ladies and two for the gentlemen, on black backgrounds and white backgrounds for each. They're on all layers for her pleasure. There's also a pair of tintable foot tattoos, a heavy ink, and a more faded version, of skeletal foot bones overlaying your own, on the sock layer.

(Hair: Allegory in unnamed unreleased thingie, Al in booN's NMR32, Alex in Truth's Kensei II, O. in Winter Moon's Slingback)

(I may retire the purple after the weekend entirely, or I may put it out at the same price as the others, I've not decided yet. Either way, it won't be free after the weekend!)
