Back Into the Woods

Into the Woods from Collabor88 a bit ago returns. Rigged mesh dresses in Standard Sizes, unrigged parasols with a few holds included, for lefties and righties- and a 1 LI room decor display version is included as well (with optional shadow prim).

Now in 15 colours of rainy forest lace, the parasols match the dresses.

The Lost in the Woods spiderwebbed version of the dress is still around as well, for those who are a little less frilly and a little more spooky.

At the elephant, of course.

Lost in the Woods dresses and Crypt Fanceh Pants

Some spooky little things for October, Into the Woods dresses that have gotten a bit lost in there and found by spiders, and some skully fanceh pants.

hair by Clawtooth, makeup by katat0nik, bat and tattoos by ~silentsparrow~, left bracelet and shoes by lassitude&ennui, skin/ears/eyes/stockings/necklace/right bracelet by Schadenfreude, pose by marukin

hair by Clawtooth, skin by MiaSnow, bat and tattoos and socks by ~silentsparrow~, scarf by katat0nik, left bracelet by violet voltaire, ears/eyes/shoes/right bracelet by Schadenfreude, pose by marukin

The Lost in the Woods dresses are the same dress base that I made for the Into the Woods dresses (which still aren't back yet, sorry!), but instead of the foresty lace, feature silvery spiderwebs (in a materials viewer they are extra shimmery, the white, especially, is less so in a no materials viewer- both are rezzed out in the elephant on dress forms though so you can see what they really look like for you). Rigged mesh, Standard Sizes for the ladies (sorry boys!  Part of the holdup on the Into the Woods dresses is the boyifying).

Also a pair of Fanceh Pants with a dark grey and black skull print- Standard Sizes for men and women.  The rest of the Fanceh Pants will be around...eventually, this is all you can find for the moment.

his hair by Dura, her hair by Clawooth, her scarf by katat0nik, her lipstick by Luxuria, his shirt and vest and bat by ~silentsparrow~, shoes and her bracelet by lassitude&ennui, his skin/stitches/nails and her horns/ears/shirt/necklace/gloves/socks by Schadenfreude, his pose by Eternal Dream, her pose by AnaLu

Into the Woods

This month's Collabor88 is "rain or shine"- so, of course, umbrellas were a necessity.  I've had these pagoda style parasols built for sculpts for quite some time before mesh was released (and even longer before that, I've made ones for myself out of old traditional prims when sculpts weren't even a hint yet- one of my early early projects before I first started Schadenfreude on La Reina), and was never quite happy with how they would have to be shoehorned so I didn't finish them.  But now, mesh means I can finally have my strange umbrellas in a state I can actually accept.  The parasols come with 3 hold poses for holding right handed, and two for holding left, so you can take your pick of which works best with your shape and AO.

To go with them, there are dresses that share the same lace pattern- in keeping to the theme (...sort of), I drew a lace pattern that starts out on the bodice with rain clouds raining down onto trees, then through a forest of flowers to more trees and deer heads at the lower hem. The parasols share all but the upper section of the lace pattern (the clouds and rain) to match.  (I'm quite fond of this pattern, it might end up on a wall in the elephant some day as well.)

And to wear under your dress on those colder rainy days, there are 3 pairs of leggings and matching knee high socks, in lightning, suns, and clouds patterns.

All to be found only at Collabor88 the month of May!

The full release of the dresses and the rest can now be found at the elephant.

Collabor88: Pink Flamingos

(hair by DECO for C88, jewelry by Yummy for C88, tattoos and cuffs by ~silentsparrow~, skin by Fashionably Dead, pose by Luth)

The theme this session of Collabor88 is the John Waters film, Pink Flamingos.  And so, I indulged in my strange coloured leopard print obsession.  Dresses and matching shoes, in 5 colour choices.  The shoes are unrigged, and can be resized to your heart's (and feet's) content.

As usual, a men's deformer version is included along with the women's, and the Standard women's sizes (and a bonus fit more to Alle this go round, if you fit an xs but are less endowed, it might work for you too)

(hair by Clawtooth, skin by Tres Blah, pose by Luth)

(the lovely hyasynth Tiramis, with ~silentsparrow~ uni-ee and cuffs, Frick Kani mod, Violet Voltaire necklace, Fashionably Dead hair, Schadenfreude anklet)

Eala

The Collabor88 round that included the Cygnettes, also had these matching dresses, Eala.  The colour mix is slightly different in the full release of Eala (there are a couple of shoes that didn't make it to dress format- but only three, one of the browns, one of the grey, and the bright green).  There are 21 choices of Eala, separately, in packs of 7, or an uberpack of everything all together.  Like the Cygnettes, all come with a texture change HUD with 31 options for the ribbons in back.

As always, at the elephant!

Pearl DeVere

(Credits on Discopomp)

There is an event running January 1-8, Etheria, with jewelry designers who chose a clothing designer to work with them. I am honoured to be Lolapop!'s choice, and we chose to interpret the Painted Lady theme as a rather successful lady.

I drew my inspiration in particular from Pearl de Vere, the soiled dove of Cripple Creek, Colorado. Options were somewhat limited for a woman who went West, and many chose to capitalize on their feminine wiles in the new and exciting land of possibilities. Pearl's girls were paid well, had nice clothes, and were considered the most beautiful women in camp, from at least some of the gentlemen's opinions who frequented their services (and paid the quite high fees! At one point it was $250 to spend a night with one, at a time when $3 a day was a good wage for a miner). All good things must come to an end though, and on June 4, 1897 Pearl threw her last party- after which she overdosed on morphine taken to help her sleep. Like a number of the painted ladies at the time, Pearl's family thought that she was a dressmaker, and only found out her true profession after she died.

The DeVere sisters come in 6 colours of damask brocade, with a rigged mesh bustle skirt, and a rigged mesh bustle, to move with you. Please do try a demo of the skirts, as rigged mesh cannot be edited to fit- there are two sizes included, a slim size for the waif of an avatar, and a fluffier version for those who prefer to pad their bustles a bit more. There is an optional alpha mask that can be worn with the long skirt- it can do away with the clipping issues on more extreme (and less ladylike, tut tut) poses, but I didn't bother to wear it most of the time. The underthings have ruffles that peek out (Pearl and Hazel come with ivory, the rest with black), under the bloomers, out of the sleeves, and at the bustline- those are sculpt, and can be edited to fit your shape, and include matching lace thigh hi stockings.

(Clawtooth hair; Lassitude&Ennui boots; jewelry by Lolapop!, of course; aDORKable and Imperial Elegance poses; Schadenfreude skin, unreleased makeup and eyes)

To go with DeVere, LolaPop! created a rose and pearl cameo set, with white or black pearls, named Cosette. Both can be found at Etheria, alongside all the other participants!

After the event, it will be at the elephant.

Scream Queen

This MAY be the end of my Halloween released. Maybe. There's more I could do, it's just whether I'm going to keep trying to get it out and done in time.

(hair is One Fine Day by Clawtooth by Clawtooth....and the reason this had to happen. Shoes are by Sixty Nine, but it looks like they only do hair now, which makes me emosad because I loved the skully accessories)

Bits can be mixed with Striga as well, if you are so inclined, the seams et al. match up so you can mix tops/skirts.

Did you know that ELVIRA IS BACK? It's true. There are new episodes. You can find out some of the stations that carry it on the official site. It doesn't list all the ThisTV stations though- that's what I'm watching it on. Unfortunately last week they got the times wrong so I missed the first half hour of The Giant Gila Monster, dammit. I can't tell you how much I've missed Elvira, I'm all about the cheesy horrible horror movies (bet you couldn't guess). I have such fond memories of Elvira hosting Attack of the Killer Tomatoes....

Anyway! Scream Queen! At the elephant!

Beeeeeees

Ok, first, to get you in the mood, you should watch this music video.

Done? Isn't that awesome? Don't you love bees now?

Now that wasn't really the reason the bee stuff happened, but I must admit, working on them did remind me of it.

come into my parlour

Stripey short dresses, named after the honey priestesses of Ancient Greece. Of course, there's yellow, unusual for me, because I find it a pain in the ass to work with. There's also a not-dress option, I don't even know what to call it. Sort of lingerie but not really? They're somewhat related to the Nancys, and have a bee zipper pull in the back instead of the spider there. They are, of course, also available each colour separately. I've been messing around with the way I package things a bit lately.

(Poses by Lazy Places. And yeah, the rest is a selection of mine that's out and not and I've just not been bothering lately to do proper credits for that, sorry!)

And to complete your bee costume, a bee bum and wings! Like the Nancys coming to be because of the spider bum....the Melissae came to be because of the bee bum.

(Poses by Imperial Elegance)

And a quartet of new Amortentia stockings, in lighter and brighter colours, to match some of the Melissae.

All out at the elephant!

See Acha floating away in green!

Jorogumo and the Spiderbum

Like Strix and Strigoi Mort, or Striga and Strigoi Viu, Jorogumo is one of my big sets for the Halloween season, when I let myself indulge in some spooky finery. The female set always precedes the male set, and the male set is usually just barely under the wire. With the whole mesh thing that makes me want to wander off and play with the beta grid....we'll see if I do better this year. Or worse.

Jorogumo is a shapeshifting spider in Japanese folklore. She likes to take the form of a beautiful woman, and lures men to their deaths. Because after all, them's good eatin'. The set is a combination of spooky steampunky and burlesque elements revolving around bustled spider butted skirts.

(hair: Calico Ingmann; everything else is Schadenfreude and most of it, minus the lipstick and this particular ear jewelry, is out somewhere in or below the elephant; poses by Just a Pose, Lazy Places, and Imperial Elegance)

Jorogumo is also available in blue for Horrorfest, for a limited time.

If the full on formalwear isn't your cup of tea, there is also just the spider butt, with assorted leg configurations. This one also is texture change with assorted patterns on the bum in colours that go well with the Nancys. (I'll tell you a secret: the spiderbum is actually WHY the Nancys exist.)

(the blond hair tucked back there is Clawtooth by Clawtooth, everything else is a mix of released and unreleased Schadenfreude, poses by Lazy Places and Imperial Elegance)

Out in the elephant. This year's treat bucket also awaits you on the floor in the middle of the elephant, full of candy and toys as usual. Also, I'm in Horrorfest, but I hear it's a total zoo right now, so I'll tell you about it later!

And you can see Achariya wearing Jorogumo here

Nancy Mini dresses & Pasties!

A slinky vinyl minidress with sculpted skirt, Nancy is named after Aunt (or Sister) Nancy- one of the names Anansi, the spider trickster god, is called. The middle colour panel was inspired by the black widow spider, you see, and it sports a small silver spider zipper pull in the back.

(Clawtooth by Clawtooth One Fine Day hair, Schadenfreude Spiderflake eyes, and a mix of released and soon-to-be-released Schadenfreude skins and lipstick)

Also, ok, I'm weird, crazy, and you may be wondering what is up with me, but I don't know either, so that's ok. 33 weird spooky pasties. In a gacha, tradeable with friends (or you can just get a full pack of them all for yourself, if you are also weird and crazy in this way).

(Clawtooth by Clawtooth Breathe Me hair, Schadenfreude Spiderflake eyes, soon-to-be-released Schadenfreude skins and lipstick, and, ahem, a distinct lack of anything else)

Out in the elephant, of course. The skins have been moved to the alligator room because, well, I'm also insane with the curved walls of really awkward placement.

Look! Owly's hooters!

Funambule

The tightrope walker is back, with her floofy petticoated skirts and miniskirts. Pieces are available in a variety of ways: the dress and high waisted skirt come separately by colour with 2 petticoat options each, the miniskirt and tubetops come separately by colour, all pieces are divided by colour with a HUD for the petticoat to choose from all 9 multicoloured petticoats and solid white (HUD also works with the Electro-Cute uberpack, so you have yet more petticoat options if you happen to have that)!, and uberpacks of all colours of the dress and highwaist skirt, and of the tubetops and miniskirts.

(~silentsparrow~ Batty cuffs, Chapiteau lockets, Gutter Glitter pasties; temporarily released and now temporarily unreleased for now skin, unreleased hair, knee high Cirque Socks; various poses from Lazy Places, LAP, and Luth)

You can find these at the elephant, of course! The Cirque Sock gacha from the Black Bacchanal is also out in the basement, so you can try your luck some more! And there's a new group for Gachas, Gacha Madness, that you might want to join for some sock trading.

p.s. Sorry for the confusion, Allegory's inability to spell after a week of 5 hours or less sleep a night led to me dropping the second u and calling them Funamble, not in the actual items themselves, but in the vendors and vendor ads and promos until one morning while nowhere near the computer it suddenly occurred to me that I'd started spelling it wrong at some point! Taxes + early morning workmen = I have not the brain, I are teh dumb.

Candy Flanagan dresses up in Funambule as an adorable clown
Gidge and Casja wear Funambule (and other stuff) on Achariya's blog
And then there's Achariya herself!

The Black Bacchanal

I promised Friday you would see more: here's more! And after the Black Bacchanal, there will be yet more!

The Carnival has rolled into town, to silent sparrow, in The Rookery floating high above the sim. Once you teleport to the sim, you will see large mushrooms in the courtyard. Those will take you flying high to The Rookery, if you but sit upon them.

At the Bacchanal, you will find a host of goodies from a selection of designers. From me, you will find a few things:

A skin! Yes, again with the occasional skin releasing. I'm close to getting to a proper skin release, promise.

(Gutter Glitter pasties from ~silentsparrow~, poses by Luth and Lazy Places, eyes/ears/hair/undies from Schadenfreude)

A dress and assorted bits!

(cuffs and socks from ~silentsparrow~, soon to be released but only out in purple for the Bacchanal yet, arm tats from ~silentsparrow~ belladonna:lepidoptera set; poses by Lazy Places, Luth, and LAP; hair/skin/eyes by Schadenfreude)

The rest of the Cirque colours will be released after the Bacchanal is over, of course!

And, a gacha! I love gachas, it's gambling because you want the one you want....but it's also gambling that guarantees you a prize anyway! Transfer so you can give away your duplicates, and cajole friends into trying their luck and bribing them with ones they don't have for ones you don't have.

(SMERSH shoes of holycrapawesome, ~silentsparrow~ belladonna:lepidoptera tats that are obviously ones I love hard, pose by Lazy Places which rocks for the posings and more is coming soon)

The Black Bacchanal is March 31-April 2, after which the participants will be returning to their respective homes.
